The Highlands Business Partnership

Highlands Business Partnership (HBP) is a 501(c)(3) New Jersey non-profit which exists to undertake, direct, manage, facilitate and/or oversee recreational, educational, and cultural activities, events and programs intended to promote the public welfare; the civic, educational, historic, cultural, and economic well-being and vitality of community life within the Borough of Highlands, New Jersey.

Bahrs Landing Restaurant

The Highlands Lions Club can always count on Bahrs Landing to donate coffee and supplies for our Pancake Breakfasts. They also host our monthly meeting during the winter months. Thanks, Lobster Boss!

Franny’s Pizzeria and Restaurant

The Highlands Lions Club is grateful to Franny’s for supporting our fundraising efforts. They also host our LEO Club meeting on the second Tuesday of the month.

Eyes on First Ave.

Eyes on First Ave is an incredible partner in service! They are dedicated to our mission of eradicating untreated vision impairment in Highlands, NJ. They support our mission by offering a discounted vision package to local students, while also donating a $100 gift card to be raffled off on screening day. Eyes on First is ready to lend a hand to our neighbors who struggle to pay for vision care.

Proving Ground Waterfront Dining

Proving Ground generously donates the fresh fruit salad for our Pancake Breakfasts. They also host community dinners where Lions volunteers help serve. Proving Ground is a great neighbor to the Highlands community.

Feed and Seed

Feed and Seed generously donates its parking lot to The Highlands Lions Club for events like coat collections and drives. They also collect donations and help us fundraise through sales of buttons and t-shirts.

Katz Grill

Katz Grill assists our fundraising efforts during collection season, especially on White Cane Day. White Cane Safety Day is observed annually on October 15. It’s a day dedicated to visually impaired people. The white cane represents their remarkable achievements and symbolizes their independence.

Bay Ave. Bakery

The Highlands Lions Club appreciates the generous support of Bay Avenue Bakery. They provide the world-famous crumb cake we serve at our pancake breakfasts. And they are gracious hosts on White Can Day.

Highlands EMS

The Highlands Lions frequently team up with Squad 17 - 21. If you’ve been visited by the EMS Easter Bunny or picked up a free child’s coat from Feed & Seed, you saw our partnership in action. Learn more about the Squad by clicking the link below.

The Chubby Pickle Bar & Music Venue

The Chubby Pickle is a great supporter of The Highlands Lions, hosting our 2021 fundraiser and contributing to collections. They provide collection box space for our October Hoodie Drive.

Highlands Elementary School

The Highlands Lions Club, in partnership with the Middletown Lions Club, facilitates vision screenings at HES. We donate school supplies and support the Veterans Day breakfast and flag displays. We were recently honored by the PTO. Their president Andrea Serghis is a vital partner in service.
